In
preparation of starting an eBay SIG
(Special Interest Group), many people
indicated they had little or no
experience with eBay but wanted to
participate. In order to help these
people, John will lead three sessions on
eBay covering how to get started in
general, for buying and for selling.
These classes are for Surfer Club
members only and will be held in the
large classroom.
There are lots of skills to learn in
both selling and buying on eBay. One of
the best ways to learn is sharing
experience with others. Passing along
tips on things you have experienced or
read about. A Special Interest Group
could be a great way to improve your
success in Buying or Selling, and having
some fun in the process.
The group will define its own
objectives, and will choose a day, time
and frequency for their meetings.
• Biding, buying and finding bargains
from all over the world
• Finding, Pricing, Listing, Selling,
and Getting Paid for possessions they no
longer use or want
Another Opportunity for the Group would
be for it to help the Newark Senior
Center get more value for some of the
items offered during the Spring and Fall
Sales, by selling them on eBay.
If you have some eBay experience, and
would like to take or share a leadership
role in the group, please indicate so in
your response.
