Adobe Photoshop Elements
Introductory session
Dave Hutton

This is the first class of an evening program led by Dave Hutton. Dave is the president of the Senior Surfers Computer Club and is a past president of the Delaware Photographic Society. His photographs have graced the walls of the Senior Center. This will start a series of twice monthly programs on Adobe Photoshop Elements. After this introductory meeting, the programs will be on the second and fourth Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m.   The second Tuesday of each month will be a Q&A session. The fourth Tuesday class will be a Beginners class.

Macintosh SIG - Special Interest Group
Dick Scott

Dick is starting a Apple Macintosh SIG (Special Interest Group) and it will develop into whatever the Macintosh users who attend will decide. It is scheduled for each month on the second Monday at 10:00 a.m..

Come on out and spend an afternoon with your friends watching a big screen movie in a theater setting. All center members are invited to attend these free movies. Refreshments available during intermission. What a deal! (See Newsletter for title.)

Sounds and Music on your computer
Dick Scott

If you saw Dick's music show as we were waiting for the Christmas Social, you got a taste for the things that music software can do. Dick will talk about the fundamentals of using music on your computer. He will show you how to get the free Audacity software on the club's CD or their web site. Then he will show how to use it.

This is the first class for the Elements Beginner classes that will be on the fourth Tuesday of each month. The direction of this session will be developed by Dave and the people in attendance. It will initially be more elementary.

iTunes & Media Player
Bob Bloom & Dick Scott

Bob and Dick will demonstrate the features of the applications "I Tunes" and "Windows Media Player", including copying (ripping) music from CD's  and converting it to a form usable in portable music players such as I Pods and Zune's.  They will also show many of the free sources of music and sound files available from the Internet.
